Warner Bros. Digital Distribution will handle VOD and electronic sell through for Odin’s Eye titles in North America.

CANNES – Warner Bros. Digital Distribution has signed a deal with Australian producer/distributor Odin’s Eye Entertainment (OEE) that will see WBDD take on Odin’s Eye titles for electronic sell through and video on demand in North America. The agreement is non-exclusive but ODE expects Warner to handle around 20 films a year under the deal, with the first titles slated for released in June this year. The agreement kicks off with Inseparable, a comedy thriller from director Dayyan Eng which stars Kevin Spacey and Daniel Wu.

Arrow takes UK rights to Peter Norman doc Salute

Sprinter and civil rights activist Tommie Smith is due in London in July to support the release that month of Matt Norman’s feature documentary Salute, which is being given a theatrical release in the UK by Arrow Films.

Arrow picked up the doc from Michael Favelle’s Sydney-based sales and production outfit Odin’s Eye Entertainment.

The award-winning film tells the story of how Matt Norman’s uncle, Australian athlete Peter Norman, was the third man at a defining moment in Olympic Games history. The silver medallist in the 200 metres at the Mexico Olympics in 1968, Norman was standing alongside winner Tommie Smith and Bronze medallist John Carlos when the two African-American athletes raised their fist in the famous “Black Power” salute. I for some reason missed this in the paper. It seems very interesting that securitised debts are part of the Secured Mortgage backed Securities. So I have the feeling that the heat is starting to show and that those of us who had their home securitised during their last fraudulent dumping of assets during 2007, 2008 when the U.S bailed out our own bank for $4.3Billion. I like to call this a warning shot over the bow. For the last 24 hours I have had Mr Frank Colosimo stay with me for the night to allow me to view his case which was heard several times in the Supreme Court Melbourne. Opposing council – GADENS LAWYERS.

Mr Colosimo was made homeless two days ago by the ANZ BANK due to an outstanding loan of $73,000 on a property that has been recently valued at $550,000. Gadens Lawyers have refused many attempts at mediation and in fact kept Mr Colosimo in court for over three years.

As a law student, I have taken it upon myself to represent Mr Colosimo as previous attempts by others have failed to get the point of Mr Colosimo’s matter heard properly. Lawyer with a backbone – a rare breed these days

I wanted to write something about the amazing resignation letter of a lawyer at America’s Goldman Sachs who made public his thoughts on where the company he spent all of his professional life after law school believing in the justice of law. Most people would consider this guy a hero… I do. A man that stands up against injustice is a man indeed. For that reason Mr Greg Smith is proving that it important to stand up for the right reasons and for the people not the money.

This got me thinking about my own dealings with different legal firms over the past 12 months of absolute harrasment by some lawyers and barristers. As you know, I’m studying law to become a lawyer. A lawyer that fights for justice, a lawyer that stands up for those that can’t stand up for themselves, a lawyer that will eventually have the opportunity to expose the truth about what really happens behind the doors of corruption and power. I’m doing this as a filmmaker because I am someone who believes in the power of education and how it equates to wisdom. I am dedicated to my personal journey of exposing those criminals that work as lawyers or judges and who are in the belief that they are above the law. SECRET National Australia Bank documents reveal its debt collection staff work from scripts designed to create a sense of ”urgency”, ”escalation” and ”consequence” to encourage debtors to authorise immediate repayments.

The emergence of the NAB collections department scripts comes amid growing pressure on Australia’s banks over their debt recovery tactics and follows a statement by NAB last month that it ”did not provide scripts to any of our collection agencies”.

A NAB spokeswoman said yesterday: ”We provide guidance including scripts to our staff on the process to be followed in managing debt recoveries. When you hear the saying “See no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil” I would normally see a couple of dancing monkeys. Not anymore. In other words when the GADENS LAWYERS write to the victims saying they’ve never heard of Securitisation then they would be in contempt of court as they are not only the people who know about it but they are the ones that structure it for the bank to get away with it. Gadens National Mortgae Services act as lodger of home loans into the securitisation trusts. So Bingle Pringle, that makes you a dirty little liar doesn’t it mate.

More speculation that National Australia Bank has lied to courts deliberetly in the National Australia Bank Vs Norman Case when our network of Australian underground journalists found no trace of the person known as Ashwathi Murlidhar who alledgedly signed an Affidavit on behalf of National Australia Bank. This evidence was the only evidence the courts had to rely on in foreclosing Norman’s property. If this person can’t be found or if further investigation proves that Ashwathi Murlidhar is not a real person then it must be said that Judge Judd and Judge Lansdowne should step down from the Supreme Court position held and hang their heads in shame.

Mr Norman, a filmmaker from Australia today told me from my New York office, “American’s have a lot to worry about with their own banks but now they should start considering other ulternatives in any trades with Australian Banks in light of these investigations”. Forty States Sign On to Foreclosure ‘Robo’ Settlement

After more than a year of negotiations, attorneys general from more than 40 states signed on to a proposed settlement agreement with five of the nation’s largest mortgage servicers over “robo-signing” foreclosure processing abuses, according to the lead negotiator, Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller.

I lost my job last year and fell behind on repayments by $2500 on a $78,000 loan, i received a letter of default from the bank about 24 days late and phoned them promptly and advised them that i would get early release of super to cover the arrears, the operator in the banks legal section, i told them i would need some time to get the funds through APRA. I sent the application to APRA and it was rejected, i then told the bank i would go directly through my superannuation fund and get the funds, they agreed to that, i told them i would need a bit of time to get the funds as i hadn’t been on centrelink payments long enough, i applied for my super and it was approved, it took about a week longer than it should have, i called the bank and told them this, they told me that possesion could still take place in the meantime, i told them i would put the property on the market and sell it, they agreed that i could do that. Well I didn’t think it would be possible to get so much attention in the first month and a half but we crossed the 1,000,000th (ONE MILLION) visitor late last night. I find it incredible that this campaign which is being spread through out youtube, facebook, twitter, blogs and media have really taken notice of what is happening here. I would also like to report that a distributor for the film has been found who will take U.S and Australian rights of the film “The Human Race Film” and has indicated that the release will have a theatrical season. For those that don’t know that means that without shooting anything of absolute substance yet the film is already causing enough interest that a few buyers have put their hand up to sell and screen the film. YAY for us.!
